FASHION-BASED APP, FASHOM, SUPPORTS ANTI-PHOTOSHOP MOVEMENT
MIAMI, Florida, July 28, 2014 Fashom is the first application of this type in promoting every day, self-expressed fashion on such a platform. Fashom strides to support the recent anti photoshop movement. Fashom promotes socialization of everyday fashion from people, providing a forum for users of the app to post images of their own unique style. Fashom lays emphasis on" real beauty", encouraging unedited and non-filtered photos to be posted.
" People’s own style and fashion all begins at Fashom, allowing everyone to be their own selves. There is no peer pressure to mold to trends, be who you are, no one is perfect, yet we are all perfect in our own way, we are all fashionable and creators of Fashion on Fashom." Says Mitali Saxena, CEO of Fashom.
Fashom is a person's platform, this movement is a voice to dispel the feelings of inadequacy due to the perpetuating illusions of perfection that society's photo shopped images force on young men and women. Fashom is actively supporting this cause by working with high schools, youth organizations and conferences.
Fashom believes every person is a stylist in their own right and everyday trends and selfies deserve the same recognition as high profile runway shows and magazine covers.
Originally BETA launched as an online tool www.fashom.com in December 2013 and mobile platform in April 2014, a means of bringing together street fashion from around the world. Fashom helps you define everyday fashion, a designer in your own right!
